[ Sometimes Mion had a habit of doing things that later made her wonder why and how Winry tolerated her. This was one of those times. Despite being invited to spend the day alone in Winry's house and being promised pie, she goaded her host into playing a game. This was in spite of the fact playing games with Sonozakis was always a bad idea.

The game was done and Mion had won, but before Winry could go and get the pie, Mion reminded her of why no one played games with Sonozakis: she brought up the punishment game. She grabbed her bag and pulled out the punishment she had in mind: her sister's Angel Mort uniform and shoved it at Winry. ]

[Tonight, Athrun decided to prepare dinner. With Miku sitting in the dining room, Athrun puts the finishing touches on the meal.]

[Athrun walks into the dining room, carrying two plates and a tin containing a leek-and-cheese quiche. He sets the quiche down on the table first, then puts the plates down, sits in his chair, and cuts two slices. He puts one on her plate and one on his.]

All right, let's eat, shall we?

[The quiche is good. Nothing special, but it still tastes good. Athrun followed the directions to a T, but didn't really add a personal touch to it.]

[Being a part of a yakuza family meant that sometimes people would attempt to get at them through you. Unfortunately, someone attempted to strike at the Sonozaki family using Shion.

However, Asemu happened to be there at the time, as the two were spending some time together when the hitman showed up. They were fortunate in that he only had a derringer -- just a single bullet. He fired, but Asemu leaped in the way and took the bullet to the gut. Luckily, someone heard the shot, and it didn't take long before the hitman was subdued by locals so that the police could come and arrest him.

Asemu, meanwhile, had been taken via ambulance to the hospital, and at some point passed out. When he comes to, he's in a bed with white linen sheets and an IV connected to his wrist. He shuffles around, and notices that his abdominal region is wrapped in bandages. Most importantly, though, is the girl sitting by his bed, though he doesn't register her presence immediately. He's clearly awake, though.]
